Automated systems are everywhere. Self-driving cars, “Smart houses,” “Smart greenhouses,” and other complex systems are being manufactured to make our lives more comfortable. Various components of those systems have different functional capabilities, but the overall goal is to maintain the sustainable functioning of the whole system. Studying automated systems with Python programming gives students opportunities to understand the relationships between programming, electronics, and core mechanical engineering.
